Application Process
Please read through the instructions completely before submitting your application.

Prerequisites: While completion of a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is not a prerequisite for applying, some experience as a yoga or movement teacher or work in the field as perinatal provider is preferred, including training as a birth or postpartum doula/birthworker, midwife, childbirth educator, physical therapist, massage therapist, occupational therapist, OB/GYN, naturopathic doctor, acupuncturist, perinatal mental health therapist or any other field related to pregnancy and postpartum. Having your own yoga, movement and/or meditation practice for the last 2 years is required.

Please review tuition, complete the Next Wave Teacher Training Application below, and submit a $25 application and processing fee. If the application fee is a hardship for you please send us a message. Once you have submitted your application, you can expect to hear from us within a week as to whether you have been accepted and to confirm your enrollment. Payment is due in full at this time to hold your spot in the training, unless a payment plan has been arranged.

Sliding scale Tuition
The investment in this training is sliding scale $1,200 - $2,100
This pricing scale is meant to prompt reflection on your social location and privileged identities to inform your chosen pricing tier when registering. We strive to make our offering available to people of all socio-economic backgrounds. Payment is due in full upon registration for the training to guarantee your spot. If our sliding scale rate or payment plan is not in your budget, please scroll down to the end of the page and complete the Alternative Payment Plans form.
Sliding Scale Rates Explained
$1,200 - struggle to meet basic needs and often need assistance
$1,500 - basic needs are mostly met and finances are not always steady
$1,800 - basic needs are met and I can afford this training but I cannot contribute to create greater access for folks who have less than I do
$2,100 - finances are steady and I have more than enough to contribute and can support other people in accessing this training
Cancellation Policy: If you need to give up your spot in the training and have made payments towards the training, you can be refunded if someone else is able to take your spot.
