Q. Where will it be? Is there parking? Are there restaurants for food options close by?

A. Our training will be held in a private yoga studio in SE Portland. The studio is on a neighborhood street that offers ample street parking, bus access 0.3 from the studio. You will be walking distance to a couple restaurants and approximately 0.5 miles from a grocery store. The studio is ADA accessible.

 

Q. What if I have to miss a Day, Hours, etc?

A. We get it, life happens. We ask that you do your best to be present for all in person training portions of this training. If you have to miss more than 8 hours, consecutively or culumatively, you may not be elegible for certification through Next Wave Birth and additional support to help you catch up with missed materials may be billed at a rate of $75/hr.

 

Q. Do you have scholarships? Payment options?

Q. How long do I have to finish all the requirements for certification?

A. After all in person training has been completed, you will have 3 months to complete the requirements for certification. For example, if all in person requirements are completed by April 14th, 2024, you have until July 14th, 2024 to finish your certification requirements.

 

Q. Are you Yoga Alliance registered? Can I get YA CEUs?

A. No, we have intentionally choosen not to be a Yoga Alliance registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher training. You can read more about some of our concerns about the Yoga Alliance in this article. However, you can count this training at CEUs for the Yoga Alliance as one of our instructors is registered as a YACEP.

 

Q. Can I bring my baby with me to this training?

A. We welcome non-mobile babies to this training. We can offer a semi-private space for pumping/lactation if needed. We will have a mini fridge available for milk storage if you need it.
